My name is Dave Vanderkop. I have been passionate about photography ever since I was given an old Nikon camera as a young kid. I have always been drawn to bold bright colourful paintings and how the artist has that freedom to articulate what they see and feel onto canvas. Over the last few years I have been working to try and do the same with my photography, by trying to get a feeling out of the photograph rather than a recording of time and place.
